Norfolk County (pronounced 'nor-foke') occurs as city-status municipal government in Lake Erie in southwestern Ontario. A county courthouse is Simcoe.

Norfolk's history has been closely associated thereupon of the neighboring Haldimand County. Norfolk was number one created as a county in 1792. Within 1800, Haldimand was formed from the part of Norfolk. Them counties were separate until 1974, when it were reunited when a Regional Municipality of Haldimand-Norfolk.
